Craig thank you for letting me be part of this lovely memorial for your mom. Your mom always made me feel welcome and part of the family right to the end. Goodbye Auntie Jackie.
I will always remember the kindness, warmth, and enthusiasm with which you welcomed me into your home when I came from Switzerland at 17 years old.I was young and a little nervous, and you immediately took me under your wing. You showed me your beautiful country and opened the door to this wonderful family that I am so proud to be part of.
I will always remember your energy, your strength, and your wonderfully strong spirit. Thank you for making a place for me in your home and, for the rest of my life, giving me the chance to reconnect with my Canadian family.
remembering our fashionable luncheons with "Auntie Jackie" at Cora's when we would visit St. Albert. To the Finnegan family she will always be our Auntie Jackie and such a loyal friend to our mother Jennie Finnegan. Thoughts and prayers with the various Jackie 'families'!
Gammy,
It is hard to put into words how much you meant to all of us. You were the most thoughtful person I have ever known. Everything you said carried meaning, and everything you did had purpose.
You had a way of making people feel loved, seen, and important. Your kindness was never empty, it was genuine, intentional, and felt by everyone lucky enough to know you. You made a positive impact on so many lives, and that is something that will continue long after your passing.
You will be truly missed, but your love, your wisdom, and the example you set will stay with us always. Thank you for the beautiful life you lived and for everything you gave to those around you. Rest peacefully, Gammy. You are loved forever<3
Dear Family,
A mother and grandmother never truly dies;
she walks through the fields, bathed in sunlight, reaching for the horizon.
She shares beauty along the path of destiny,
leaving with each step a gesture of love and hope.
We are with you in our hearts.
