Brian Batsch

My heart is heavy with this loss of a life so well lived, and particularly sad for my dear friend Sharron, her son Brice and family.....

Brian was a force to be reckoned with, and his absence will be felt for a long time to come, by many. My heart particularly breaks for the loss of a beautiful marriage, and the shared love and exceptional lives of two Best Friends (Sharron and Brian).

Brian was always very kind to me. He passed me the baton as volunteer president of the Canadian Liver Foundation many years ago now, invited me to Rotary, always was interested in my goings and doings, as simple as they probably appeared to such a dynamic individual as Brian. The penultimate gentleman. His art left me in awe and wonder. So much talent!

I know he is well on his way to new and wonderful worlds now.... Worlds we can only dream of, but I fully believe his spirit lives on valiantly and beautifully to grace other realms now. Hold the light for us Brian, so we, too, can find our way in due course.

Sharron, we share your grief, but not as deep to the bone as your own sorrow must be. In the days ahead, know that we are here to support you as best we can during such a tragic time, and for the go-forward. Brian would expect no less of us! May your grief be as easy as possible, my friend.
